Matthew McKinley was born and raised in Martinez , Ca in the Bay Area. After realizing his love for the stage in high school, he studied theater in college along with playing Division 1 Basketball. Since the NBA wasn’t in his future, he moved to LA to to pursue his acting career. Starting out starring in theater plays he realized he wanted to pursue film and commercials. He appeared in such films as “Pool Party,” and “Ball Don’t Lie,” and several commercials. Also checkout his previous work with Bootleg Ent. such as “Bank Job,” and the “Sexy Filipina.” Working with Bootleg Ent. he is able to not just act but also write and produce. Matthew McKinley who’s first love is comedy, and loves to make people laugh also shows a wide range of emotions, and understands how to embody each character. Look out for his upcoming role, in a post- production major- motion picture entitled “Making Change”, which will debut late 2012.
